SCRIPTING

Story scripting is something that we learned from the SSWA company that came into our classrooms, weekly, to give us advice on how to write the story that we wanted to write. Our main instructor, Ms. Julia, explained how there are no right or wrong ways to do it when it comes to scripting. In scripting, we would have to include the slideshow that followed out story and the cues.

When I read through my story, I chose to script the parts that seemed most natural. I chose  red font color for stage cues, used

italics to extend the length of my words in a sentence,

I bolded the words that I wanted to emphasize,

and used a question mark when I knew I wanted to keep a positive tone until the end of my sentence?

I also used                spacing when I            wanted to                slow down            the              pace of            a sentence.

SLIDESHOW

To go along with our script, we created a slideshow to guide the reader into our heads. Below is the slideshow that I made.
